Exercise regularly According to the American Heart Association , adults need about 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic activity per week, 75 minutes of vigorous aerobic activity per week, or a combination of both. Meanwhile, children aged six to 17 must have at least 60 minutes of moderate- to vigorous-intensity physical activity per day. Experts recommend mostly aerobic exercises for kids.
