(Natural News) The American school system is engulfed with problems, from history books with distorted “facts” to math agendas that still teach useless long division, but no problem is bigger or more detrimental to the children’s learning abilities than filling their bodies and brains with harmful chemicals, and the problem grows bigger every year. Most teachers, school nurses, medical doctors, and food scientists agree that school food, tap water, flu shots, and over-the-counter medications are normal, safe, and effective for functioning, when just the contrary is the case. Let’s take a look at the actual chemicals that invade what the “sheeple” and the “quacks” consider “normal.”

1. Drinking fluoridated tap water from the water fountains

Water fountains are located throughout the schools, and nearly every child drinks from them periodically during the day. Most kids put their lips up against the metal spout when drinking, spreading germs and any sickness they already have onto the fountain stem. Even if their lips don’t touch the fountain, the water coming out is carrying cold and flu bacteria and viruses right into the mouth of the receiving child.

To make matters worse, the water coming out of that fountain contains an insecticide and a drug that’s imported from China and dripped into the municipal water supply at the city treatment plants (about 75 percent of cities in America do this). That drug and bug-killer is called sodium fluoride, and it does NOT promote healthy teeth, despite what every quack dentist in America claims along with the American Dental Association.

Sodium fluoride is also proven to lower children’s IQ and cause cancer. A comprehensive 2012 study revealed fluoride, which is classified as a neurotoxin, along with lead and arsenic, decreases the IQ of humans. This is just one of 50 studies that have reached the same conclusion. Fluoride also propels other health detriment, including dental fluorosis (how ironic), diabetes, Down’s syndrome, chronic inflammation (the catapult of almost every health problem), and of course, cancer. Why? Because the fluoride dripped into American tap water that’s coming out of the water fountains at your child’s school is really a chemical byproduct of the phosphate fertilizer and aluminum industries in China.

2. Getting the annual flu shot

There is not one school in this country, whether elementary, middle or high school, that doesn’t push the flu shot propaganda when flu “season” begins, which is deemed from October until May (essentially the entire school year). Not only does the average influenza vaccine contain known neurotoxins, such as embalming fluid (formaldehyde), aluminum, genetically modified blood, cells, and proteins from other animals, and mixed strains of live (“attenuated”) viruses, but the multi-dose vials also contain 25,000 times the mercury than the EPA warns we should not consume in fish or drinking water. Oops.

Add to that the fact that people who get the flu shot spread the flu, are more likely to get a worse case of the flu the following year, and the vaccine insert tells you in plain writing that there have been no controlled clinical trials to test for safety or effectiveness, and not to get the jab if you’ve ever received one before. Wait, what? The CDC was supposed to have been turning in safety reports every year, but has not done a single one in 30 years. Is your child suffering from mercury poisoning, also known as “mad hatter syndrome?”

3. Eating GMOs and HFCS

GMO corn, soy, and canola invade nearly all conventional food products, especially that cheap stuff they serve at public schools for breakfast and lunch all across America. The quality of school food rivals that of prison food, and nothing’s changed in the past 50 years. These genetically modified and mutated foods contain pesticides on the inside and on the outside, because they’re all sprayed with weed-killer they’re “immune” to in the crop fields. Those chemicals impede your child’s cognitive abilities, cause confusion, brain fog, depression and anxiety.

Top that off with a bunch of processed, baked goods, cereals, pop tarts, and fruit chews that contain high fructose corn syrup (HFCS), and you’ve got hyperactive children who can’t think straight while suffering from emotional disorders. Good luck with all of that, parents and teachers.

4. Eating MSG and Aspartame

Monosodium glutamate (MSG) is a dangerously concentrated salt that can cause brain damage in infants. Children and teens that eat MSG on an empty stomach, or even just too much of it, experience severe migraine headaches where they can barely tolerate noise or bright lights at all. Imagine being trapped all day in a classroom, the gym, and the cafeteria with an excruciating migraine. Try learning anything like that.

Aspartame, on the other hand, is a genetically modified artificial sweetener made from the excrement of bacteria. Aspartame causes a nervous, anxious, and uneasy feeling that fuels anxiety and even weight gain in children and teens. Check those diet foods, diet sodas, and most candy and gum nowadays for this brutal synthetic sweetener. Aspartame has recently been linked to blood cancer in a mind-blowing scientific study.

5. Eating artificial food coloring in food, candy, medications

You know those dyes with numbers and the words “aluminum lake.” You seen them on candy, colorful food and even in children’s headache, cough and cold syrups. These yellow, blue and red dyes come from industrial petroleum and are proven to feed hyperactivity in humans. Has your child been “diagnosed” with ADD or ADHD? Maybe you should filter out all those coloring chemicals first and see how they act after that.

6. Eating canola oil impairs human learning and memory, according to recent in-depth study

Researchers at Temple University conducted an in-depth study linking canola consumption to decreased learning ability and worsened memory. Why? Canola oil, whether organic or not, congeals (coagulates) in the blood and blocks oxygen from traveling to the brain. Canola oil is mixed into the majority of processed foods to keep them from spoiling, all while spoiling your child’s thinking skills and memory.
