Summer Beauty Essentials
Summer is finally here, so I’ve rounded up a handful of my favorite beauty finds! The babes over at Revolve sent a bunch of their top beauty picks and I did what any normal girl would do, I opened everything up and gave myself an at home spa day to try everything!
They sent over some must-have summer beauty essentials to keep my complexion soft and glowy. Plus, a some low-maintenance makeup products so I can spend less time in getting ready and more of my day lounging by the pool or beach.

Luxe Tanning Drops
Officially my new favorite product for spring, summer, fall & winter! Tan Luxe self tanning drops are a major game changer. They’re a tailor-made approach to self tanning, in tandem with your daily body moisturizer to develop a natural, golden glow with minimum effort. These concentrated serums are packed with skin boosting, certified organic ingredients derived from Raspberry Seed Oil, Vitamin E, and Aloe Vera for hydrating benefits and Cellutone Complex to help firm the surface of skin and reduce the appearance of cellulite.
Instead of using a tanning foam or lotion, you can control the amount of tanning drops you add to your own lotion, meaning you end up with a more natural, gradual tan. It also makes it a lot easier to get a consistent tan, without gross lines or uneven spots. I also like that because you’re combining drops with your own lotion, you don’t end up smelling like gross tanning lotion.
They make both face & body drops. For the face drops, I mix 1-4 drops into my moisturizer, serum or face oil and apply evenly (morning or night). For the body drops, I mix 2-6 drops with my body moisturizer and apply it in sections, working in a circular motion from head to toe. The more drops you use, the darker the color and glow. You could technically get away with using the body drops for your face too if you don’t have super sensitive skin!
Honey Banana Sheet Masks
Who doesn’t love a good face mask!? I love the rejuvenating benefits of the Honey and Banana Mask from TWOTSP. These fun face masks are made with Manuka honey and bananas, simplifying the K-Beauty skincare regimen to reduce bacterial growth in the pores and postpone early signs of aging. Who doesn’t want to stay fresh and youthful!?
I like to use sheet masks after cleansing and toning my skin. It’s pretty straight forward, just unfold the sheet and spread it on your face! Leave it on for 20 minutes and remove. You can gently pay the remaining serum into your skin until its completely absorbed.
Pro tip: keep you face masks in the refrigerator for an extra refreshing treat! I love throwing on a cool face mask when I’ve been out in the sun to soothe and help with inflammation.
Makeup Brush Cleaning Wipes
Apparently you’re supposed to wash your makeup brushes after every use? Yea, that’s not happening in my house. I’m pretty sure I wash my brushes seasonally. I’m lazy and hate having to wash/dry my brushes.
But this is the future… and some genius invented makeup brush cleaning wipes! These handy towelettes are drenched with a formula that easily and effectively dissolves makeup product residue in order to help thoroughly clean and sanitize your brushes!
All you have to do is remove a wipe from the pouch and gently massage the brush fibers to help dissolve makeup residue. Set your brushes aside and they will dry in a few seconds. So easy and convenient!
Hoola Matte Bronzer
You guys know I’m a vampire and never go into direct sunlight without SPF 3 million. Which means I rely heavily on self tanner and bronzer.
Benefit’s Hoola Matte Bronzer is like the holy grail of bronzers. Bronzer is the perfect way to warm up your complexion. I love that it’s matte, lightweight and buildable. Making it easier to define your features and add a light glow to your skin.
It’s great for any skin tone and easy to use. I love using it year round, but it’s always one of my summer time essentials.
Ellis Brooklyn’s Hydraparfum

The scent is light and fresh. With notes of Bergamot, Tiger Orchid, Pink Lotus, Jasmine, and White Cedarwood. I love that it’s also paraben and phthalate free. It’s great to throw in your bag or carry on too, the gel formula makes it easier to apply when on the go!
Lip and Cheek Balm
I love multi use products – highlighters that double as eyeshadows, eyeliners that double as brow pencils, etc.
Olio E Osso makes some of the most amazing multi-use balms by hand in small batches, pouring lots of love into each one. Their ultra emollient balm has an all natural base that utilizes the nourishing properties of olive, shea, and grapefruit essential oils to create a simple yet luxurious product for lips and cheeks.
I opted for Color #9: Spring. The rosy pink is a breezy floral tone that works for both lips and cheeks. It’s super hydrating for the lips and leaves a light pink glow on your cheekbones, which is great for a fresh faced summer look.
Apple Cider Vinegar Scalp Scrub
We’re all fairly familiar with deep conditioning and hair masks. But have you ever used a scalp scrub?
